My client is a world leader within the construction industry. They currently require a number of Construction Engineers

They require strong minded Construction Engineers who have the ability to manage a team of operatives and sub contractors. You will have an HNC or equivalent in an Engineering discipline, be SCO - Safe Control Operations qualified as well as an NRSWA certificate. 5 years experience from an NRSWA environment is required as well as experience producing Formal Site Audits, measure and keeping record sheets, incident reports, signing off time sheets, ability to produce transport/plant breakdown reports. You will also have a broad technical knowledge relating to gas installations and pipeline construction.

Ground worker- Water Distribution
Location: Leicester (Full UK Driving licence as travel is required in this role)
Salary Range: 20,000 to 24,461 plus 6,753 shift allowance

The Team:
Working within the Service Delivery Distribution Team this role provides an effective installation, repair and maintenance service on the Company's infrastructure assets. The role will respond to and resolve issues raised by customers and work alongside our Contract Partners to deliver effective installation, repair and maintenance. Whilst working in the field you will be customer facing and constantly working to high safety standards. This role will involve manual labour, working outdoors in all weathers and you will work on an annualised hours shift pattern after an initial period.

About you:
We are looking for individuals with a positive and flexible working attitude who possess excellent communication and customer service skills. The ability to investigate and resolve problems is a must for this role along with the ability to work well as part of a team. Experience in a similar role within the utilities industry is vital along with customer service experience. Additional training such as NRSWA, Underground Cable Detection, Mains and Service Laying and Mini Digger qualifications would be of an advantage.
